  When the time is a complete hour, we say….It is XX, o’clock….For example. It is one O’clock.  
                           
                       
        It's One O'clock         It's Three O'clock        
                       
                           
                       
        It's Six O'clock         It's Nine O'clock        
                       
     
                                               
                                               
     
  When there are minutes , like 5:10, we say It’s ten PAST five or five ten. This is only before the 30 minutes mark. After the 30 minutes mark , for example 5:40, we say it’s Five forty or it’s twenty TO six.  
                           
                       
        It's ten past twelve.
It's twelve ten.
        It's twenty past twelve.
It's twelve twenty.
       
                       
                           
                       
        It's twenty to one.
It's twelve forty.
        It's ten to one.
It's twelve fifty.
       
                       
     
                                               
                                               
     
  For the 15 minute mark, we say a quarter past or to….. example 5:15 a quarter past five or 4:45 a quarter to five…  
                           
                       
        It's a quarter past twelve.
It's Twelve fifteen.
        It's half past twelve.
It's half to one. 
       
                       
                           
                       
        It's a quarter to one.
It's Twelve forty five.

0:30 > Half past ....
0:45 > A quarter to ...

10:05 > Five past ten
